This weekend is LKA, the last All Breed Championship show in the UK for the year and last chance to gain that Crufts qualification.Coupled with the Christmas atmosphere is a great draw for many exhibitors from boths sides of the Irish Sea.

Congratulations to Cheryl Donaldson and her GSP Northern Belle on theri Crufts qualification from the Puppy Bitch class.
In Basset Hounds Mark and Joanna Baxter's Barratini Razzle Dazzle won a large Post Graduate class
Gary McAlpine and David Walsh had a great result in Min Long Dachsunds with Ir Ch Walpines Flamin Red winning Open Dog and the RCC and another CC in bitches for their Ch & GB Ch Walpines Queens Coutier
In Irish Setters Christine McLarnon's Sh Ch & GB Sh Ch Northamber Just Cause For Glenavna won another CC and Best of Breed and her young homebred Puppy dog Glenavna Journey South won his class
Rachel Shaw-Rainey and Tony Rainey's Weimaraner Greyspirit Royal Scot At Trilite won his class and took Best Puppy in Breed and their Greyhound Ch Mario Lorenzo da Mascotts won the dog CC and Best of Breed
A great day for the Revloch team of Belgian Shepherd. Their Gronenendael Ch, Lux & Ned Ch Diego Du Pre Du Vieux Pont won his 3rd CC with Best of Breed. His daughers Revloch X Faxtor and Revloch Xquiste of Fivante were first and second in Junior bitch. At seven months old and attending his first Ch show, their Malinois, Revloch Yabba Dabba Doo won AV Pastoral Puppy, Best Puppy and Reserve Best Dog.
Ashling Connolly’s Ashmair Bichon Frise team had a great day also at LKA taking just two of the Bichons from home to the NEC. There was a great result for her new young star when Brenda Banbury selected ‘Romeo’, Ashmair Look Who Did It as her Puppy Dog class winner and he then went on to be Best Puppy in Breed. Taking the Puppy Bitch class and Reserve BPIB was Margaret Moss’s Ashmair She’s All That at Mamose who is from a different litter bred by Ashling. In the females classes Ashling’s CH/INT CH Ashmair She’s Got The Look, Romeo’s dam, took the Reserve CC to add to her CC win at Birmingham National last year.
Alan Daly also had a super day at the LKA event when his Sealyham Terrier Cibach Celtic Connection took both the Puppy Dog class and the Junior Dog class and then went on to be Best Puppy in Breed under Mrs J. Wonnacott. Alex has been bringing the breed back in to the limelight recently in Ireland and it’s great to see this special breed back in the rings here. He is already a Puppy Group winner at International level and has numerous Best of Breeds to add to the other Thornberryhall team member, the Scottie, CH Tamzin Edwina who has also been on a great run for Alan.
